According to WHO (World Health Organization), depression will constitute the second largest disease burden worldwide. More than 450 million people suffer from mental disorders. The global burden of mental health will be well beyond the treatment capacities of developed and developing countries.
‘Soul – Success of your life’ is a public speaking community organisation and the major concentrations includes promoting mental health awareness and spreading wisdom to help individuals build self-confidence and to help to have faith in oneself.
Biography
Shruti Reddy is an Indian Actress, worked predominantly in South Indian films. She holds a diploma in acting from Anupam Kher’s Acting School Mumbai. She has also done a workshop with Adishakti Laboratory for Theatre Art & Research. She is also trained in Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi dance forms.
Apart from acting career, she is a Motivational Speaker, founder of Soul – Success of ur Life, a public speaking community organisation to promote #MentalHealthAwareness and to spread wisdom. She has delivered speeches providing Mental Health Education in various colleges and universities and in events. Volunteers of Soul often visit orphanages and old age homes to help the destitute to overcome their mental issues if they are suffering from any, while also providing them with necessities like food, medicines etc.
Her grand father Late Busi Reddy Bhumireddy was a politician who worked alongside Late Y.S. Raja Reddy in his hometown Velidandla, Pulivendula seems to have inspired Shruti into the work to help the society. Her mother Vaneswari Devi Bhumireddy is also involved in charity works.
Reddy completed her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from SRM University Chennai and graduation in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology Hyderabad. She worked with the MNC companies JLL India Pvt. Ltd., Cushman & Wakefield India Pvt. Ltd., contributed in the retail department in business development.
